Our community offers a variety of modern floor plans including one, two, and three-bedroom apartments designed to fit your lifestyle. These spacious homes range from approximately 675 square feet to over 1,300 square feet of living space. Each unit features high-end finishes like stainless steel appliances and granite or quartz countertops.
Do you offer furnished or short-term lease options?
Preston Ridge Apartments does not offer furnished units and provides lease terms ranging from 9 to 15 months.
Are pets welcome at the community, and what is your pet policy?
We are proud to be a pet-friendly community in Hickory and welcome both cats and dogs to our property. Residents can enjoy convenient on-site features including a dedicated dog park and a professional pet washing station.
Preston Ridge pet policy includes a max of two pets per home with a nonrefundable fee of $325 for 1 pet and $200 additional for a second pet. The monthly pet rent is $35 per pet. Breed Restrictions Apply. Shepherds, Dobermans, Rottweiler, Pitbull, Chow, Bull Mastiff, Cane Corso, Akita, Wolf-dog Hybrid, Great Dane, St. Bernard and any mixes of these breeds. Other pets that are restricted: Ferrets, Reptiles, Tarantulas, and Rodents.

We also take pride in providing top-tier customer service and maintenance support.
What parking options are available, including garages, guest parking, or EV charging stations?
Preston Ridge Apartments offers free parking for residents, with optional reserved parking available for $30 per month. Garages are available for $150 per month, and EV charging stations are conveniently located on-site.
Are there laundry facilities in the units or on-site?
Preston Ridge Apartments includes a washer and dryer in every apartment home.
Are utilities included in the rent, and which services are residents responsible for?
Utilities are not included in the rent. Residents are responsible for setting up their electric account with Duke Energy, while the property sets up the water and sewer account and bills residents monthly.

How can I apply for an apartment, and what documents or fees are required?
All applications are completed online at www.prestonridgeapartments.com . The application fee is $80 per applicant, and you must upload your two most recent pay stubs along with proof of identity.
What are the move-in costs, and is a security deposit required?
Move in Costs include pro-rated rent and any other applicable fees. We do not require a security deposit. However, a non-refundable administration fee is required, ranging from $400 to $800 depending on credit.
Is renters’ insurance mandatory, and what coverage is recommended?
Renters insurance is not required but is highly recommended.
What happens if I need to move out early or break my lease?
We require a 60-day notice and a two-month fee to terminate the lease early.
How do I submit maintenance requests, and how quickly are they typically resolved?
All non-maintenance work order requests must be submitted online through the resident portal. For emergencies, please call 704-479-1648, and a maintenance team member will respond immediately.
